Steam Without Combustion, Powered by Electricity Instead of Fuel.
- To 10,000 BHP
- Nearly 100% Efficiency
- Zero Local Emissions
The O’Brien CEJS is a high-voltage jet-type electrode steam boiler that uses water’s natural conductivity to generate steam — from 2 MW up to 65 MW, with steam output to 100,000 kg/h at 7–34 bar. All electrical energy is converted to heat with zero local emissions, delivering a clean, modulating alternative to fuel-fired boilers with straightforward operation and minimal maintenance.

All electrical energy is converted directly to heat, delivering efficiency up to 99.9% with no flue or stack losses.

With no combustion, the CEJS produces zero on-site emissions — ideal for facilities targeting decarbonisation and clean operation.

No flame, fuel storage or exhaust means inherently safer operation and simpler site compliance than fired boilers.

A fully automated PLC control system with few moving parts keeps maintenance minimal and operator requirements low.
